Did you watch the video about classmates bullying a girl to the point they cut her hair? I was referring to the youtube video that Johnathan Yong aka Rock Angel posted on his wall. It was the bully case in Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Raja Abdullah, Kuala Lumpur that happened in middle of this year.
Who is Johnathan Yong? He comes from a bloodline of Chinese Hakka, where his dad is from Kudat and mum from Papar. A successful entrepreneur – Managing director and CEO of Unicell Construction and based in Luyang, Kota Kinabalu.
I asked him the essential question, what makes you a ‘fabulous’ Sabahan? His answer was, ‘not really’. To dive deeper into his ‘not really’ I asked him as to why was his facebook ID ‘Rock Angel’? Another short and concise sentence, ‘because I do not want to be disturbed’. A curious answer but strangely appropriate, I can only deduce that Johnathan is a humble yet concerned citizen of Sabah, Malaysia whose voice is heard by the hundreds (928 friends) in Facebook alone.
